Students at ICCI may enroll in internships or placements, but there are requirements. The application MUST be submitted one month prior to the start of the quarter. The requirements are outlined in the "Rules and Regulations" and on the syllabus which you will receive during the first meeting. For example, you will be required to keep a journal. Your employer will submit an evaluation.
More details are provided in the first session of the class which is MANDATORY! If you do not attend the first session of the class, your registration will be canceled. The course syllabus that is handed out during the first class outlines the deadlines for the submission of documents.
Most current internships and placements are with the student's existing employer; however, the goal is for you to be placed where you will most benefit and the placement must be in an area that dovetails with your degree.
Students who wish to register for internships or placements need to submit an application a month prior to registration in order to ensure there is sufficient time for the Internship coordinator to review and approve the application. You can download the form in Word and submit via email to internship@myicci.com.
