I want to welcome back all of our returning students as well as our new and re-admit students to the International College of the Cayman Islands.  The 2011-2012 school year promises to be an exciting time and as we begin our forty first year of providing tertiary education the college will going through several momentous changes.  This September we will open the new Carlyle and Martha McLaughlin Hall which will have two state of the art classrooms for our finance and accounting students.  This will return our campus to its traditional three buildings and enable us to increase our course offerings and availability.

Our student enrollment continues to grow and this year we expect to average over 200 students a quarter with students from all six populated continents and over 25 different nations attending the college.  Graduation for the class of 2011 will happen the first week of January 2012 and should be our largest graduating class in the history of the institution.

The college radio station located at 101.1 FM is now broadcasting 24 hours a day and will be offering opportunities for students to do live broadcasting throughout the coming year.  The broadcasting degree program is getting a renewed emphasis and we look forward to Radio ICCI's continued growth.  It is a point of pride for the college that our station was the first radio station in the Cayman Islands and its return to full time broadcasting promises much opportunity for students and the institution.

Keep an eye on the myicci.com website for breaking news updates throughout the year that will keep you informed of events at the college as they are scheduled and confirmed.  I offer my best wishes to you all for a successful year and look forward to meeting with you for your quarterly advising sessions each term during the coming year.
